Blue H20 shares donations
November 3, 2013

Blue H20 is very proud and excited to have made two contributions to water specific organizations with funds generated from our "Sailing for Water" campaign this past season. We want to thank everyone who has supported our program and to make sure you understand that from day one, our mission was to distribute these contributions as soon as possible.  The money does not help anyone sitting in an account, so we have put it to work through two excellent and worthy organizations: Water.org and Healing Haiti.

We support the mission and efforts of Water.org with a donation of $1,250 to address systemic issues and solutions for a world in need of better water distribution. In brief, we endorse the Water.org underlying philosophy that is mirrored by the old proverb: "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."

We support the mission and efforts of Healing Haiti with a donation of $1,350 for their continued effort in delivering over 3 million gallons of chlorinated water to Citi Solei, Haiti - the poorest slum in the Western Hemisphere. While other disasters have turned the world's attention away from Haiti, the water availability and conditions since the earthquake of 2010 have barely improved. We firmly believe that Healing Haiti is truly saving lives through their water delivery program.

Most importantly, thank you again for being a part of  our team. Together we have made "Sailing for Water" a reality and a program that is making a difference. We're looking forward to filling up another "bucket" of Blue H20 soon.

Blue H20 does not and will not fund any aspect of the "Blue" racing or operational program.
